Donald Eugene Brown, 51, passed away on May 27, 2011, from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 30, 2011, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Wichita Falls with the Rev. John Swistovich and Deacon Larry Bills, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home.

Don was born March 1, 1960, to Jim and Evelyn (Kajs) Brown. Don attended Our Lady Queen of Peace Elementary School and graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1978. Don served time in the U.S. Navy.

In 1982, Don moved to the Ft. Worth area, where he lived, until his death. Don was employed for many years with NCR Corp. He greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially celebrating his Czech heritage, as well as, golfing and hunting. Don also enjoyed watching Texas Rangers baseball and whoever was beating the Dallas Cowboys.

Don was preceded in death by his father, James J. (Jim) Brown. He is survived by his three children, Brittany Graue and husband Buckey of Aledo, Texas, Courtney Brown of Bedford, Texas, and Joshua Brown of Weatherford, Texas; his mother, Evelyn Brown of Wichita Falls, Texas; and his siblings, Teresa Bacot of Coppell, Texas, Denise Peabody of Spokane, Washington and Thomas Brown of Pueblo, Colorado; and two grandchildren, Kennedy and Kellan Graue.

A Christian Wake will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2011, in Lunn’s Colonial Chapel.
